A portrait to remember them by.
Hand-drawn memorial portraits of much-loved dogs and cats, made slowly and with care from your favourite photos. Matted and ready to frame, with free shipping anywhere in New Zealand.
There’s no rush with any of this.
“In many cases the pets I draw have passed away, so I put a lot of care into creating a special memorial portrait.”
If your photo isn’t perfect, send it anyway. We can work from more than one picture to get their markings and expression right, and you can tell me a little about them so I can capture who they were.

My only photos of them are old or a bit blurry. Can you still help?
Very often, yes. Send everything you have, even several imperfect photos. I can combine them to get their markings, colouring and expression right, and I’ll tell you honestly what’s possible before you pay anything.
How long does a memorial portrait take?
Allow 2–3 weeks once we’ve agreed the details. If you’d like it for an anniversary or a special date, tell me when you get in touch and I’ll confirm a date before you commit.
What does a memorial portrait cost?
The same as any portrait: $100 for a Mini (head and shoulders) or $250 for a Standard, matted and ready to frame, with free shipping in New Zealand.
Can I give one to a friend who has lost their pet?
Yes. A gift voucher lets them choose their favourite photo in their own time, which many people find the kindest way to give a memorial portrait.
Whenever you’re ready.
Send me your photos and a few words about them. I’ll reply personally.
